We are seeking a skilled and creative UI/UX Designer to join our team and take full ownership of designing intuitive, elegant, and conversion-focused website and web application interfaces. You will work closely with our project managers, developers, and clients to conceptualise, wireframe, and design digital experiences that not only look great but also perform effectively across platforms.

This role requires someone who has a strong portfolio of responsive websites, eCommerce interfaces, profile sites, and web applications, with proven experience delivering impactful UI/UX solutions for a diverse range of digital projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into user-centric design solutions.
• Create sitemaps, wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity UI designs for responsive websites and web applications.
• Design intuitive and visually compelling interfaces for eCommerce websites, company profile sites, and custom web apps.
• Ensure responsive behaviour across breakpoints (mobile, tablet, desktop).
• Build design systems and reusable UI components for consistency and scalability.
• Conduct user journey mapping, UX audits, and usability reviews.
• Work with developers to ensure pixel-perfect design implementation and interactions.
• Optimise interfaces for speed, performance, accessibility, and conversion.
• Use design thinking to solve UX problems with a user-first approach.
• Stay updated with modern UI/UX design trends, tools, and practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design for websites and web apps.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in eCommerce, business websites, and custom web applications.
• Mastery of design tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Solid understanding of HTML/CSS capabilities to collaborate with developers (no coding required, but tech fluency is a plus).
• Strong UX research skills: persona creation, competitive analysis, and user flows.
• Familiarity with WCAG guidelines and accessibility best practices.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for typography, color, and layout hierarchy.
• Experience designing for CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, Magento is a bonus.
• Good communication skills for client presentations and internal collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience working in agile/scrum environments.
• Knowledge of prototyping tools like Framer, InVision, or Marvel.
• Understanding of basic design-to-development handoff tools like Zeplin, Figma, or Inspect.
